Business Development Analyst – Junior to Mid-Level
Under the direction of the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Analyst will be responsible for the collection and proliferation of enriched product data for customers. The Analyst will work closely with manufacturers, distributors, third-party content providers and internal staff to evaluate, collect, organize, distribute and manage product attribute information of products procured by healthcare institutions.
Work with internal resources to prioritize areas of greatest need/opportunity
Identify manufacturers and distributors to target for enriched product content
Clearly understand and communicate Companies value proposition to manufacturers, and importance to customers.
Work with customers to strengthen the value proposition and understand their evolving needs
Create sales materials in support of the content enrichment program
Convince manufacturers and distributors to provide non-priced product data to Company through presentations, discussions, and onsite visits
Manage and document daily interactions with manufacturers, distributors, and content providers to ensure acquisition targets are met
Organize received and targeted data that results in weekly/monthly action plans
Manage third-party content provider projects to meet customer goals and timelines
Lead or assist in analyzing received data for accuracy and completeness
Suggest program updates that drive business objectives
Create and lead presentations to internal staff and customers that highlight the content enrichment program
Assist as needed in analyzing and screening new opportunities
Assist in the development and creation of reports to executive management
Perform in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related major
Strong communication skills are critical. Sales and healthcare experience are preferred.
